There has been a marginal rise in cases of drug and liquor smuggling in Noida and Greater Noida in 2023 compared to last year, according to official statistics. The number of cases registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act increased by 6% from last year, while cases registered under the Excise Act increased by 11%.
